lyrics
Your faith can’t save you.
Your prayers, they mean nothing.
You’ll never know true sorrow.
What makes you so different?
Rotting away.
Decaying in beauty.
The pain never ends in the garden of despair.
The leaves drip in misery.
The skies grow darker, masked with dread.
These hands have never looked so pale.
Rotting away.
Decaying in beauty.
The pain never ends.
His face, motionless.
Eyes open, full of grace.
Staring into the void, searching for ecstasy.

Chat pile c’est une cuillère à soupe de Sonic Youth, une pincée de Ministry, une cuillère à café de Joy Division et le résultat est très très bon !!

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250
Toronto band Respire deliver a post-hardcore tour de force on the largest scale possible, orchestrally rich and incessantly uncompromising. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 6, 2021

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
